Mini Haul: Makeup Revolution, IHeartMakeup

Today I am showing you a mini haul of some products that I recently ordered online!

I have heard about Makeup Revolution, which is a low budget English brand, but I have never ordered it before even though I have heard great things about the quality! So I saw a picture on Instagram of @dupethat with some swatches of MR's Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquers and decided to try some out!

As I was ordering from a Dutch website, Beauty88, that carries the brand, I decided to also try out the Radiant Lights Highlighters Palette that supposedly were dupes for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Highlighters. Since I don't own the Hourglass Highlighters, I will not be able to make the comparison.

I have used the highlighter in the middle and to my surprise I liked it very much! It is not an aggressive highlighter that you can see from the moon, but a more subtle one with a nice sheen, almost like "glowing from within" type of thing ;)
I am sorry that I don't have a picture of it on my face but I will surely use it in one of my next full face makeup looks!

I paid € 9,99 for the highlighter palette, I feel that it is a reasonable price, I will have to try out the other two colors too. There is a very nice and big mirror that is the same size as the palette.

Then I saw that the website also has the Lip Lava from IHeartMakeup and I know that I have heard about those liquid lipsticks before or the Lip Lava's, but I have never heard about this brand! So I still wanted to give it a try and order one to see if I like it!

Makeup Revolution Lippies

When I saw these liquid lipsticks on Instagram, I really thought that for that price the quality must be poor and the color sheer! Honestly I didn't expect much, but I wanted to give it a try anyway.

To my suprise the lipsticks are pretty pigmented and I needed only one coat to apply to get the full coverage. At first it feels really sticky and after about 5 minutes it dries matte. I recommend while you are waiting for it to dry, not to press your lips together, because there is a big chance that chunks will pull off and leave naked lip space!

When the lips are dry, you can do whatever you want with them and the color won't come off. It feels a tad bit drying on the lips, you need to moisturize your lips before and after when you take it off.

To remove it I found that it was the best to remove it with a waterproof makeup remover, a makeup wipe won't take it off that easy.

The only thing that I don't like about them is that I have to wait a long time for it to dry! In the mean while I have to keep my mouth open so that the lips don't touch each other to prevent sticking!
Other then that I love them and will certainly get more colors!

I got two colors for now:

Keep Crying for you

The other one is

Velvet Vamp

The price that I have paid for these is € 3,79 which is really cheap for such a great lipstick!

I Heart Makeup Lip Lava

This is a liquid lipstick in a tube, it is glossy by finish and very pigmented! It is kind of sticky but not annoying!
The tube has a felt applicator with a small hole where you can squeeze the lipstick out, I like how it applies, it evens out the amount of product so it doesn't chunk up ;)

It is a very nice lipstick, but I am more of a matte lover actually lol but I will sure enjoy wearing this one too :)

This lipstick was also € 3,79 which is a very good price!

I hope that it wasn't to much to read for you lol and I hope you liked everything I had to say!
